  • For Olympian Sarah Wells, the podium has always been the destination however; it was the challenging moments in-between that made Sarah the champion she is today.

    Sarah will discuss the importance of believing in your goals, share different types of training, proper nutrition, and the mindset she used to be successful in sports.

  • A lot of environmentalists talk about the global issues that this world currently faces but fail to motivate individuals to start taking action. Dillon empowers individuals to think globally but act locally to make a change in their society.

    This will be a practical session that and you will leave with immediate actions you can do to help with climate change and protecting the environment.

  • Learn first hand what life is like growing up in one of the poorest and most difficult countries in the world. Sierra Leone is ranked 204th out of 224 countries when looking at standard of living. That means, there are few countries more difficult to secure clean drinking water, shelter and education in the world.

    James and George will share with you what their daily life looks like, how they manage to stay positive and happy in the face of so much adversity. They will also share what you can do to help people in these countries.

  • The total number of 12-19 year olds in Canada at risk for developing depression is a staggering 3.2 million. Student reporting feelings of anxiety are rising at alarming rates. This session is specially designed students and teachers who would like to learn more about reducing stigma and negative attitudes towards those struggling with poor mental health. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of how to help maintain mental health and improve resilience and coping strategies for themselves and those around them.
