Internship - Accepting Applications
If I am accepted what kind of work will I be doing?
Interns will work on several teams such as social media, databases management, communications, ambassador team and others.
How long is the program?
This is a one-year commitment.
Can I get financial support from YoungLeaders.World?
Internships are volunteer based positions. Any costs inquired from traveling for the team/work will be covered by YLW, (with the exception of coming to the office)
Do I need to be at the office full-time?
Most of the work can be done remotely at your own convenience; bi-weekly meetings are held throughout the year with the exception of the summer holiday break in June/July/August. Interns are invited to work at the office as much or as little as they like. The YLW headquarters is at the Edmonton EXPO Center.

– works well on a team
– understands social media
– fairly good computing skills for data management and some basic design

– ideally someone who is comfortable public speaking (but this is not a deal breaker, we have others who can do this on our team)
We are looking for someone who would like to gain experience in marketing, speaking, communications and social media.
Do I have to travel outside of Canada?
Travel is not necessary but will be an option to a successful candidate who successfully completes the one-year internship with us.
